Day 15 – Favorite fight scene/action sequence: the scene in THE VULCAN AFFAIR where Napoleon is being chased by the guards and the dogs through the factory, including up and down a series of staircases

How's that for a long description? [chuckle] But the camera work in that sequence is just magnificent (and quite unique for the time). The black-and-white filming gives it an extra dimension of menacing dark. And the sequence itself is heart-poundingly exciting.

Yup, definitely my fav action sequence from the series.

But you're right, that was very well done, both as a "stunt" and in terms of the cinematography and direction. The scene moves.

I adore good b&w film, I don't get the aversion to watching it some people have.
