Day 09 – Favorite villain: Victor Marton (from THE FOXES AND HOUNDS AFFAIR)

No surprise here! [chuckle]

He's suave and smooth with an undercurrent of quiet ruthlessness. You just know Victor Marton is in every fiber of his being a perfect foil for Alexander Waverly.

He has style, but it never undermines his underlying menace. And intelligence. Plus he knows better than to underestimate our guys. [wink]

Oh yes, Vincent Price's Marton is the perfect MFU villain!

Great minds!

I'll be interested to see if anyone else is chosen because there are some rather wonderful villains to choose from.

I like M. Marton as well, but as I told georgie, I've got someone else in mind this time. When I get there. Marton is such a wonderful schemer.

Talking of Marton's underlying menace, have you seen [livejournal.com profile] bluemeanybeany's Polytope vid?

She's an extraordinary vidder.

It goes with azdak's World's Fair Affair story:

If you've never read it you'll laugh your head off.

Great choice and great description also! He's one of my favorite villains, too.
