I'll give this meme (http://network-command.livejournal.com/323058.html) a whirl, but don't expect my answers to be too much in depth. [chuckle]

Day 01 – Favorite season: Season 1

In general I find something to like in every season and honestly Season 2 is probably the most representative of the series as a whole (action, humor, buddy-atmosphere, huge sense of adventure). By comparison most of Season 1 is very film-noire, and not just because it was filmed in black-and-white.

But I like the edgy and somewhat more contained quality the episodes in this season possess. And, as Napoleon is my fav, I don't mind the Illya-less episodes at all (DOVE, FINNY FOOT, GREEN OPAL and IOWA SCUBA are all episodes I really like). I think FIDDLESTICKS is absolutely the best episode in the entire series. And KING OF KNAVES is, I admit, a guilty pleasure of mine. [wink]

I could honestly cite just about every episode in Season 1 as a personal treat. (Notable Exceptions: QUADRIPARTITE, GIUCCO PIANO, NEPTUNE, GIRLS FROM NAZARONE, ODD MAN, and BOW-WOW except for a few "Solo" moments)

And since I'm a day behind on this, I'll go ahead and post the second day answer today.

Day 02 – Least favorite season: Season 3

No surprise there, right? [chuckle]

I can't say I hate Season 3. It had some good moments. I especially like DEADLY SMORGASBORD and have a definite fondness for HER MASTER'S VOICE, MONKS OF ST. THOMAS, THOR, and OFF-BROADWAY. Unlike many fans, I am not particularly fond of CONCRETE OVERCOAT, yet the confrontation scene between Solo and Waverly gets me every time. I will watch the episode just for this pivotal moment.

Yet in Season 3, MFU lost its edge, unrestricted its tenuous hold on reality, and broadened its humor. The result was a hodge-podge that seldom delivered with the punch of other seasons.
