I'm a day behind, so posting this one today as well to catch up.

Day 06 – Least favorite movie: HOW TO STEAL THE WORLD

Didn't like the episode; didn't like the movie version.

That a member of U.N.C.L.E. would come up with a scheme like Kingsley did and not see it a being very Thrush-like (and a magnet for Thrush's interference as well) is to me too dumb for words. If the man was going to do this kind of thing, at least he could acknowlegde to himself that his beliefs had basically gone over to Thrush's idea of world dominance by the few with the rest of the human population as basically slaves.

And the whole thing is dragged out as well.

Plus, since we are dealing in terms of least favorite, this movie is definitely a downer to me as it marks the end of MFU as a series. And that certainly does make it less than a favorite of mine as well.

Grant has always amused me. (He's the UNCLE guy who is so not impressed with Napoleon and Illya.) I've always wanted to know exactly what had happened that got them on his wrong side.

It isn't very good is it? Certainly not the way any of us would have chosen for the series to go out.

You could have edited these two hours into ten minutes and still have a clunker. Talk about uninspired and underwritten! The only good part is when they bomb LAX :)
